Reds hire Pole as pitching coach (AP)
Dick Pole, Dusty Baker’s bench coach with the Chicago Cubs the last four seasons, was hired Tuesday as the Cincinnati Reds’ pitching coach. Jacoby becomes Reds’ hitting coach (AP)
Former big league third baseman Brook Jacoby was hired Friday as hitting coach of the Cincinnati Reds. The 46-year-old returns to Reds following a four-season stint with Texas.
