Right-handed reliever Brian Meadows agreed to a minor league contract with the Cincinnati Reds on Thursday and was invited to spring training. Meadows appeared in 53 games for Tampa Bay last season, going 3-6 with eight saves and a 5.17 ERA. He gave up 14 homers in 69 2-3 innings. The 31-year-old Meadows also has pitched for Florida, San Diego, Kansas City and Pittsburgh during his nine-year career.
