Reds pitcher Eric Milton is scheduled to have reconstructive elbow surgery Friday, almost certainly ending his season. It’s possible the left-hander will never throw another pitch for the Reds. He can become a free agent when his $25.5 million, three-year contract expires this fall. Milton was 0-4 with a 5.17 ERA in six starts this season.
