The Cincinnati Reds designated pitcher Victor Santos for assignment and recalled pitcher Elizardo Ramirez to start Saturday against Milwaukee. Santos was 1-4 with a 5.14 ERA in 32 games for the Reds. This is the second time this season the Reds designated Santos for assignment. Ramirez made his first start for Cincinnati since Aug.
