During his six seasons working his way through the Cincinnati Reds’ farm system, first baseman Joey Votto never watched one of their games on television. He didn’t want to see Great American Ball Park in high definition. He wanted to see it in person. When he saw it for the first time Tuesday, the organization’s top hitting prospect was all agog over his new workplace.
